Apostle Roger & Prophetess Maxine Gushway are the visionary founders of Kingdom Gate Equipping Centre in Toronto, Canada. As anointed teachers and leaders, they boldly present the uncompromising Gospel with clarity, simplicity, and life-changing truths. Through their apostolic and prophetic voices, they guide many into kingdom living, equipping believers to walk in their God-given authority.
With a deep revelatory gift, they specialize in teaching on Grace, Faith, Intercession, Leadership Principles, the Authority of God’s Word, and the Reality of the Kingdom of God in a Post-Modern World. Their ministry extends beyond the pulpit—God has used them as street evangelists and missionaries, leading crusades and church-planting expeditions across Jamaica, Barbados, Uganda, Guyana, India, and Canada.
Apostle Roger Gushway is a former data programmer turned scholar and theologian, holding a Bachelor of Arts from Canada Christian College and a Master of Theology from Christian Life School of Theology. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate to further his commitment to biblical scholarship and leadership training.
Both Roger and Maxine are certified counselors with the Canadian Counselling Centre and Ontario Pastoral Counsellors and are registered with the Evangelical Order of Pastoral Counsellors of America. With over 35 years of experience as Master Marriage and Family Counselors (MMC), they have transformed countless marriages and families through their prophetic, inner-healing Marriage Advance Weekends and family counseling sessions.
Their pastoral heart and evangelistic boldness empower them to speak with frankness and honesty, addressing real-life issues rarely discussed from the pulpit. Their mission is unwavering: to challenge people of all cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds to see their entire lives from God’s perspective.
Married for 40 years, Roger and Maxine are the proud parents of four adult children, two cherished daughters-in-love, and one beloved legacy grandson. They reside in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, continuing their kingdom mandate to equip, empower, and transform lives through the power of God’s Word.

Our vision for youth programs prepared youth from 13yrs old we call them Squires.
Who receives by first teaching the importance of self-love from a kingdom perspective then serving our neighbours is a natural overflow. Serving our church community (children & elders) Then our immediate community and city.

How does your book weave scripture with real-life experiences?
The JOURNEY TO GO starts with my Mom leaving her small city and country and venturing to the large nation of Canada for a better opportunity for her three sons!

Over my years of being a minister, counsellor, consultant and coach I have seen and helped many people who have had to make a bold step to GO beyond the limits that was set by others (family, religion, country, etc)

What is your hope for your book?
My hope is that this book will challenge believers to rise up and GO and fulfill their destiny no matter the cost.
That our known world would be impacted through the obedience of kingdom graced people that God has sent to them.
