I find myself among those who are on a quest to discover, embrace, and walk in faith as lifelong learners. Growing up in the church, I explored the Baptist tradition, which has profoundly influenced my Christian journey. My appetite for faith often fluctuates between deep longing and moments of struggle, but this dynamic fuels my desire to experience faith on every level.
I constantly seek to understand all that God has to offer and how I can integrate that into my daily life. My strength comes from immersing myself in the Word of God, where I find guidance and inspiration. I am also deeply motivated by my mother, who has faced numerous adversities with remarkable grace and resilience. Her unwavering spirit shows me the power of faith in action, inspiring me to pursue a transformative faith that uplifts not only myself but also those around me.

Coaching became my passion, especially after my divorce in 2002. This pivotal experience sparked a profound transformation in my perspective as I sought emotional freedom and self-forgiveness. Initially, I struggled to be coachable, facing personal growth challenges. However, as I connected with fellow divorcees, I found myself compelled to share my journey toward healing and forgiveness. Standing in line for the emotional rollercoaster of life, I eventually realized I was ready to step off that ride. I began actively pursuing my healing, sharing my story with anyone who would listen about how God guided me to overcome my challenges. My work has always been intimate and personal, starting with one-on-one sessions. I feel a strong calling to expand this mission into a global coaching platform, helping others find their own paths to healing and empowerment.

Can you share a few key points?
Two of the ten steps in the book particularly struck a chord with me. The first is the idea of engaging in emotional house cleaning, which emphasizes the need to confront and clear out unresolved feelings and past traumas. This process allows us to create a healthier emotional environment. The second step is about self-forgiveness, highlighting the significance of letting go of guilt and embracing compassion for ourselves. Together, these practices encourage personal growth and emotional well-being.
Share your mission and your goals for the future.
My personal mission is to reach as many individuals as possible with the message that healing is accessible to anyone who actively seeks it. Going through my divorce felt like experiencing a profound loss, akin to a type of death. The pain and disappointment that accompanied this process were overwhelming, and it drove me to a deeper understanding of myself and my faith.
I want to communicate to other divorcees that, despite the heartache, there is hope for healing and a sense of freedom that can be rediscovered. It’s essential to recognize that this journey involves finding a renewed sense of purpose, both in God and within ourselves. Healing does not simply happen; it requires deliberate action and active participation in the process.
My overarching goal is to consistently maintain a state of wholeness, peace, and grace—qualities that I believe can only be fully realized through a connection with Christ. I have come to understand that I could never achieve true healing without seeking spiritual guidance and engaging actively in my own restoration journey. It is this combination of faith and action that has made all the difference in my life.
