Dunston Pereira, CEO of the private office of HH Shiekh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al Qassimi Shares Vision for 2025 

Mr. Dunston Pereira, CEO of the private office of HH Shiekh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al Qassimi is a well-versed and versatile personality who was in corporate leadership roles with multinationals for almost 30 years.

With vast experience in business excellence, he became an entrepreneur at the age of 46 and had been on a successful journey since then. He received the national award for business excellence in 2018 and the state award in 2019.

With his vast expertise in a global relationship, he has taken up this challenging assignment with the private office to make it one of the most acclaimed and accepted business organization in the world

He is also a good humanitarian who is serving as an ambassador to about 10 NGO organizations across the world.

Tell us about the prominent projects supported by The Royal Office of Sheikh Ahmed bin Faisal Al Qassimi in 2025. 

The most prominent project that the family office is currently supporting is creating the largest wildlife sanctuary in this region. We are partnering with a South African company who is in this field and we also have wildlife enthusiasts who have joined hands as partners for this wonderful project. This will be a great project bringing nature close to the people. More than 1000 species of living beings are being planned to be part of the sanctuary, and we are also creating a real estate concept into this project which promotes forest living. 

What is trending in the UAE for economic development? 

The UAE is trending in all sectors as far as economic development is concerned. But real estate tops the list as people from across the world see UAE as the safest place where they can live and hence makes huge investments in the real estate segment. Tourism is another sector as year on year there’s a huge increase in the number of tourists visiting this country which is boosting the related sectors like hospitality, restaurants, public and private transport sectors and retail outlets. Health care is also another important sector as people across the world use this as part of medical tourism.

You are a Media Expert and well-known in cinema. How have you positioned your expertise on making Ras Al Khaimah the next biggest destination in the UAE? 

I always felt the need that UAE should have a state-of-the-art film city as it is geographically well placed and connectivity from across the globe is excellent. Also, as UAE is the home for almost 200 nationalities, availability of manpower from any region is very easy. And as i have seen the struggles that many production houses go through i felt the need for a full-fledged shooting facility to be incorporated in the UAE. And Ras Al Khaimah was the best choice as it has the most beautiful landscape like mountains, sea, deserts and many others which made it as the ideal choice for the Film city. We would like to facilitate an end-to-end solution for the global film fraternity. 

Why is Ras Al Khaimah the destination for tourism? 

Ras Al Khaimah is the only emirate in the UAE that is blessed with natural resources like the desert, mountain, sea, and land which makes it more attractive. RAK has always been a holiday destination for all as it has the best climate in UAE. Now with the Wynn Casino coming up in Ras Al Khaimah, it is going to be elevated as the most sought-after destination in the world tourist map. This development has created a spur of some many other developments in this place which will boost tourism in a very large manner. 

Can you share your proudest moment during your career? 

The proudest moment of my career is when I met HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Faisal Al Qassimi unexpectedly and he asked me to join his team which changed the course of my career path. It brought in a lot of responsibility as the trust and faith that was put on me by the family was huge.  Added with responsibility is the attitude to be grounded and be simple as that is what all the Royal family of UAE believes in to be so simple and humble in life.

What is your vision for 2025?

Is to create an impact in this region by bringing in value added projects that will help this country grow multifold in economy thereby improving the quality of life of the people. My ambition is also to help as many entrepreneurs realize their dreams by setting up and growing their business in the UAE.
